Identical twins Georgia and Abbey O'Connell have returned to the new-look Ostriches this season to contest the AFL Riverina Championships.
The 21-year-olds are now playing alongside younger sister Brianna, 17, after the COVID-19 pandemic saw them return home from Melbourne, where they are both studying psychology.
Fate now sees the sisters become teammates for the first time, and they feel lucky to have this chance.
"If they hadn't of come home I wouldn't have had the opportunity to play with them probably, so playing with them this year is really good," she said.
While Brianna can easily tell the twins apart, they admit it's not so simple for others out on the court.
"There's quite a few people that we've known for ages that can't tell us apart," Georgia said.
"We wear different coloured shoes, so a lot of people can tell us apart by our shoes."
"Or they wait for Brianna to yell out which name's which and go from there," Abbey said.
"Most of the time we just respond to both because majority of people can't tell us apart."
The girls admit their parents Renee and Nick are their biggest fans, with both having previously played for Osborne.
"Mum's been getting photos of us every week," Abbey said.
"They love Osborne and have been there since they were younger, so they love having us all there."
While the switch from the Hume League was a change for most at the club, the twins had some prior insight after playing their junior years with Turvey Park.
It's been several years since they last represented Osborne and now find themselves playing in the preliminary final against the Wagga Tigers this weekend.
They admit it's an exciting time after wondering if they'd even get to play this year.
"Georgia and I haven't played in the Hume League for a while, so it's been nice coming back in," Abbey said.
"It's been a really tough league so it's been nice playing competitive netball, and playing all together has been really fun."
Georgia admitted it's shaping up to be a tough contest against the Tigers at Robertson Oval on Saturday, with the Ostriches falling to them on two occasions.
"It will be a very tough game, so hopefully we come out on top, but it could go either way," she said.
Osborne have four netball grades playing in the preliminary finals, with B-grade already booking a spot in the grand final.
The girls admitted its been a huge effort by the club.
"When we're in the Hume League it's usually the footy teams that are always in finals, and now that we're playing in this league, it's the netball teams," Abbey said.
