Officers attached to the Riverina Police District came across a Hyundai Accent during their patrols of Jeeba Place, Glenfield Park, about 10.30am on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Ashmont woman driving the vehicle allegedly failed to stop, reversing away from police and turning into a nearby street.
Police engaged in a pursuit, which Riverina Police District Detective Inspector Adrian Telfer said reached speeds of up to 110km/h, before being terminated for public safety.
However, after police stopped, the driver allegedly reversed towards officers and rammed an unmarked Highway Patrol vehicle.
In other news:
The Hyundai was pursued onto Kooringal Road before the pursuit was terminated again.
A short time later, police allege the driver and her two male passengers abandoned the car in Higgins Avenue and fled on foot, before being arrested a short distance away.
They were taken to Wagga Police Station where the woman was charged with police pursuit, drive recklessly/furiously, class A motor vehicle exceed speed 45km/h, not give particulars to other driver, use etc offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention, and drive motor vehicle during disqualified period.
She was refused bail and is due to appear in Wagga Local Court today.
