Kim Wilson said it had been a challenge opening the cafe right out of lockdown, but said it had all come together with the help of her team of young baristas.
"We've got the right team and we're really happy with how we're going," Mrs Wilson said.
"I met Em[ily] and I knew a lot of baristas and hospitality people, so I thought we could all pull it together."

This is the first cafe Mrs Wilson has ever opened, but she has had some help with her new manager Emily Podmore.
Mrs Wilson and Emily Podmore saw Cafe Niche up for sale in March, and so they took over they bought the building and gave it a modern makeover before reopening it in October.
Ms Podmore said it had been a busy first few weeks, with residents glad to see their local cafe return - albeit with a new name and under new management.
"From not being able to do anything to now being able to come out, see your friends, and have a coffee - I think everyone values it a lot more," Ms Podmore said.
"It's nice to be able to see everyone and do what we love doing, which is coffee, making food, and talking to customers."
