The spokesman said that the snowfall, which saw Snowy Valley residents wake up to a dusting of light snow on Saturday morning had caused no problems for the region.
The region's rainfall is sitting comfortably above the monthly average rainfall target for August, according to the bureau. The area's rainfall is also currently sitting above average for the year.
