A track inspection will be carried out on Thursday after the track, along with most parts of Wagga, received heavy rainfall on Wednesday.
Club racing manager John Patton has already contacted Greyhound Racing NSW about the possibility of postponing the meeting should the track be deemed unsafe for racing on Thursday.
"The track's good at the moment and we're going ahead but with this weather coming through, we'll see how much rain we get," Patton said.
"The track could probably take an inch of rain.
"I've already spoken to Greyhound Racing NSW to see if we've got another option to race over the weekend. We'll wait and see."
Four heats of the Ladbrokes Super Series for Fifth Grade dogs was the highlight of the 11-race TAB card, with each worth $3010.
Wagga trainer Clint Colaiacovo holds a strong hand and will be represented by five dogs across the four heats.
Temora trainer Matthew Wallace will also be represented in the first heat by Coffee With Ten, a lightly-raced bitch looking for her third straight win.
The final will be held on Friday week.
