This year, the students were encouraged to come dressed as the heroes in their life.
Being a year of fires and viruses so far, the schoolyard was filled with miniature health heroes and emergency service personnel.
While there were a number of nurses, veterinarians, police officers, and firefighters, predominately the students and teachers came as nurses.
Given that 2020 has also been dubbed the 'year of the nurse and midwife', the theme fit appropriately.
The day also coincided with NSW Principal's Day, so while dressed as a nurse North Wagga Public School's principal Trudy Standley was honoured further, with the students presenting her with a big bouquet of flowers.
