Last year's Riverina League champions the Goannas host the Tigers in a battle of the unbeaten sides on Saturday.
After winning the previous three premierships the Tigers watched last year's grand final from the sidelines, when the Goannas beat Collingullie-Glenfield Park.
Both sides have cruised through the opening three rounds of the six-team, six-round AFL Riverina Championship season and are tipped to meet again come the decider.
"Both teams are very talented and it could go either way this weekend," MCUE goal shooter Mikaela Cole said.
"It's not the end of the day if we lose. There's still finals and things and obviously we do want to maximise the round games while we have the opportunity to."
Cole has moved from centre court to the shooting semi circle after the departure of Katie Caller.
"I used to shoot a few years ago so it's a bit of a change for me, so I'm just adjusting and working hard," she said.
"But it's quite good having some experience in mid-court because we do have a young court, Rachael (Addison) has been a great addition there."
Tigers player Georgia Tilyard said the drive to get back to grand final day is strong within the squad.
"It was amazing to win three grand finals in a row and I don't think many clubs can say they've done that," she said.
"Missing out last year was just the way it went, but definitely this year we want to get back there and give it a good crack.
"We were pretty lucky with the draw that we've had some games to work through and practice a few things, so it will be good this weekend to put them into play and see how it goes.
"If we lose that's fine, we'll learn things we need to work on and come back stronger for finals.
"We've got such a versatile team with players who can fill different positions. It will be very hard to pick a top seven, because everyone deserves to be on that court."
