RESIDENTS have been forewarned by Wagga City Council to consider watching its Monday night meeting online with high community interest anticipated.

The council's meeting room has only a limited number of seating available in accordance to the COVID-19 social distancing measures.
Wagga City Council announced that the available seating will be reserved for registered speakers and then allocated on a first-in basis.
"Community interest in the August 10 ordinary meeting of council is expected to be high and the council is encouraging members of the public to consider watching the meeting online rather than attend in person," the council stated on a Facebook post.
In other news:
"If you are sick or feeling unwell, it is requested that you do not attend any meeting in person."
For those wanting to watch the meeting can do so via the council's Facebook page or website where the meeting will be livestreamed from 6pm.
The city's councillors will discuss a range of matters from the Morgan, Murray, Forsyth and Docker streets precinct to a planning proposal for a new suburb in the northern area of Wagga.
