In their first game of the season, Wagga City overcame a couple of injury concerns to score a 20-0 win at Leeton No.1 Oval on Saturday.
Coach Rob Cleland was pleased to get back onto the field.
"It's been a pretty tough start as we've lost a few girls," Cleland said.
"We started with about 25 and now we've got about 14 but they are working hard together.
"We just have to make sure we don't get too many injuries as we've had two season-ending injuries already."
In her first game for the club Rutah Peniamina broke her arm while Nickey Rigg damaged her anterior cruciate ligament at training.
Defensively Cleland was thrilled with the performance.
He's looking to repeat that against CSU on Saturday.
"We held Leeton to zero, and that was really pleasing, and we just have to keep working on that defence," Cleland said.
"Our ball retention was a bit lacklustre against Leeton so we'll have to hold onto our ball a bit better and go from there."
It comes after Reddies scored a 30-15 win over the Dianas in round one.
Both teams are undefeated coming into the clash after CSU scored a 32-10 win over Waratahs.
Once again Tess Staines scored four tries in the victory.
