Officers from the Riverina Police District visited a home on Ceduna Street in Mount Austin about 11am on Monday, where they arrested a 37-year-old man for two counts of domestic violence-related common assault.
The offence was alleged to have taken place on Wednesday, July 22, in Mount Austin.

While in custody at Wagga Police Station, further inquiries by police revealed that the man had recently returned from Victoria and failed to self-isolate.
He was issued a $1000 PIN and taken to hospital for testing.
