Planning is in the works for the bridge, along the Sturt Highway, Wagga, to be widened.
Transport for NSW are now completing geotechnical investigations ahead of the works, which will included drilling boreholes in the existing road and around the bridge to assess underground conditions.
The work will be carried out between 6am and 6pm on Sunday, July 26, and is hoped to be completed that same day.

Changed traffic conditions including traffic control, single lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and road users during work hours.
Transport for NSW are encouraging motorists to plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and all signs, including reduced speed limits.
