A man who allegedly crashed a stolen vehicle in Tolland this afternoon attempted to flee the scene on foot before being apprehended by police.

Police attempted to stop a green Audi A6, which is believed to be stolen, in the Tolland area at about 9.45am.
The vehicle allegedly failed to stop and a police pursuit was initiated, which was terminated a short time later for safety reasons.
The Audi was then sighted at about 12pm in Kapooka.
A short time later, the driver failed to negotiate a roundabout at the intersection of Red Hill Road and Bourke Street in Tolland, where the vehicle collided with the gutter.
The driver fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later.
The 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to Wagga Police Station, where he is currently assisting police with inquiries.
The Audi is believed to have been stolen from Tumut on Wednesday, July 15.
Police say investigations are continuing.
