Painting has five drives across the eight-race card, with four of them mares.
Adira is out to make it four wins from as many starts in the Riverina.
Painting is confident she can continue her excellent start for Euroley trainer David Kennedy.
"I'll be very surprised if she got beat," Painting said.
"I think she is a filly on the up. She's tractable, she can lead, she can sit and has won from anywhere with us.
"She does have good gate speed as well so the plan is to zip across and find the front but if I don't find the front then I won't be too concerned as I think she has a bit on them.
"She is a nice filly."
Painting believes the stable was lucky to acquire her after she failed to live up to a promising two-year-old campaign earlier this season.
Now they've got the NSW Breeders Challenge in their sights.
Painting and Kennedy also combine with Georgie Martin.
Coming off two unplaced efforts at Menangle, the Wagga Pacers Cup placegetter should appreciate returning to the Riverina.
"I was really happy with her first run down there, she never really got a crack at them and she takes a bit of winding up, and in her second run she didn't disgrace herself," Painting said.
"She went 52.1 for her own mile and was out working three wide for a little bit of that.
"Back to country class I think she has the class on them. She finished third in the Wagga Cup behind Major Roll and Rusty Crackers and if them two were in the field they would be short favourites.
"She wasn't too far behind them in the Wagga Cup and she actually pulled up a little bit crook from that run and probably would have finished closer to them."
The last of the trio for Kennedy is Highland Major.
A winner when leading three and four starts back, from a wide alley Painting believes she will have to show she isn't a one-trick pony
"There is a heap of speed inside us so I don't think we will find the front so we will have to play it by ear," he said.
"She has been racing really good, she was up in grade a little bit last week after being balloted from the 60 and had to go into the 90 and she certainly didn't disgrace herself.
"If there is speed on early hopefully she can run on but we haven't really driven her with a sit.
"I think she is 100 per cent a front runner so it will be a bit of a learning experience."
Painting also drives My Ultimate Sport for Terry Powter.
My Ultimate Sport is coming off a win and a second, but Painting admitted he usually has his work cut out for him on the four-year-old.
"He's a very, very strange horse My Ultimate Sport," he said.
"He's got a lot of tricks to his bow and he's not an easy horse to drive.
"He seems to like to get out in front and roll along so that will be the plan."
Painting also has Two Five Eight drawn barrier one for Rodney Crowe.
