The Wolves split the points with Albury City FC in the opening round after the game was abandoned due to the COVID-19 scare on the border.
It means Tolland will now open their season against Lake Albert at Rawlings Park on Sunday and the Wolves don't want to give much away to their opponents.
"We're looking pretty good, actually," Tolland assistant coach Aaron Harley said.
"We're not going to try and give away too much. I won't be naming names but we've picked up a few in the off-season, which we're all clicking together pretty well at training.
"We want to give the others clubs the surprise element. We've had a couple come from the Wanderers, coming up through the ranks, a couple coming back to us from a couple of years off and then we've got a couple that have jumped clubs.
"We had a few go away and look around at other clubs and stuff, we picked up what we missed out on anyway, we picked back up those numbers and they're clicking together pretty well at training."
Harley believes Tolland will get a good assessment of where they are at against Lake Albert.
"Obviously we missed out last weekend against Albury due to COVID, we can;t do much about that and our squads keen to have a good crack this weekend," he said.
"It will be a good indication of where we're at against last season's grand finalists. They'll be pretty tough. It will pretty much show us where we're at and what we need to work on."
