A WOMAN has died after the boat she was in capsized on the Murray River.

About 4pm on Sunday, July 5, emergency services were called to the Murray River near Moama following reports that a boat had capsized after hitting a submerged tree.
Five people were on board the boat, with one man, a woman and two children recused from the water.
However, a 40-year-old woman who was also on board at the time could not be located.
Officers from the Murray River Police District and members of the SES established a search, and at about 5.15pm, the woman's body was located.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
