The defending champions will travel to Wagga to play last year's preliminary finalists Henwood Park in the standout match on Sunday.
In other highlights of the opening round Tolland hosts newcomers Albury City after their move to the first grade men's competition was approved by Football Wagga, while grand finalists Lake Albert will travel to Tumut.
Every regular season game over the first nine rounds has been scheduled for the Sunday 3.30pm timeslot, with three more rounds to follow once the league is divided into 'cup' (top four) and 'plate' (bottom six) divisions.

Hanwood coach Anthony Agresta said Schirripa, who scored both goals in last year's 2-1 grand final win over Lake Albert is no certainty to return.
"This year he's pretty busy, but he knows the door is always open," he said.
"We've been mates for a long time and if we wants to come back that's great, but we're preparing more or less without him.
"I'm one of those guys who doesn't like to pressure people into playing."
