A boy has died after the motorbike he was riding crashed in southern NSW at the weekend.

The 11-year-old was riding a dirt bike on a property on Nineteen Mile Road at Moama, when it hit a tree about 3pm on Saturday.
He was treated at the scene by Victoria Ambulance paramedics and flown to Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, where he later died.
Officers from Murray River Police District have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Victorian Coroner.
