The app challenges families to hunt down landmarks, solve puzzles, and learn more about Wagga while walking through some of the city's most scenic routes.
Mother-of-two Polly Groth plans to tackle some of the challenges with the help of her children - two-year-old Archie and four-year-old Isabelle - who are no strangers to outdoor adventuring.
Mrs Groth said Isabelle is "always" asking to take her to the Marrambidya Wetlands, which is a favourite destination of hers.
"It's good to have an outing with the kids, and it's something to look forward to once a day," Mrs Groth said.
In other news:
"[Lockdown] has been a little bit hard, so now we're just trying to fill in a bit of time together, do lots of gardening, and get out and about."
There are seven challenges in total, the easiest being a literal stroll through the park and the hardest being an epic 42-kilometre ramble through Wagga's natural settings, all while completing a series of tasks.
The first 100 adventurers to beat the challenges will be rewarded with a gourmet treat at the Wagga Visitors Centre.
Those wanting to take on the challenges can download the Scavify app on their phones and search for "Hike + Seek".
More information can be found on the Visit Wagga website or in person at the Wagga Visitors Centre.
