All grades and divisions will resume from the same position they were when the coronavirus pandemic shut down matches in March, but there will only be one competition played in juniors instead of the usual two.
The juniors will return slightly earlier than the senior divisions, with the under-ten mixed, under-12 boys, and under-12/14 and 16 girls the first to be back on court from Tuesday, July 14.
The first grade women's and men's Z-League competitions will resume on Monday, July 20.
Junior coordinator Wade Willoughby said it was a relief to get youngsters back into a regular basketball routine.
"Every kid I know has been chomping at the bit every time I run into them down the street," he said.
"You just hope with all the sports coming back at the same time that you get everyone coming back.
"The schedule doesn't change for the juniors, we already played a few rounds and we'll resume as normal.
"I might try and organise a gala day later in the year once footy is all over as we're only having the one comp."
Return schedule: Tuesday, July 14 - Under-ten mixed, under-12 boys, under 12/14 girls, under-16 girls; Wednesday, July 15 - Men's second and third divisions; Friday, July 17 - Under 14, 16 and 18 boys; Sunday, July 19 - Under-23 men and women; Monday, July 20 - Women's first grade and Z-League men.
