MTC's race meeting on Sunday remains closed to the general public.
While limited crowds are allowed back at Wagga greyhound and harness racing meetings, Racing NSW is yet to give the all clear for crowds to return to the races.
MTC chief executive Steve Keene expects restrictions to be lifted soon.
"The MTC is currently working with relevant government organisations and Racing NSW in regards to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions and crowd access," Keene said.
"At this stage there are no changes to patron or owner access to the MTC grounds, however we are expecting changes of these restrictions to be lifted in the near future.
"We look forward to seeing crowds trackside again in the very near future."
No crowds have been allowed at race meetings in the Southern District Racing Association since mid-March.
Owners were allowed back at the races in Sydney last weekend, with the general public able to book a place at the races at Randwick on Saturday.
MTC will host a seven-race card on Sunday.
