Osborne has been in talks with AFL Riverina about a potential move to the Riverina League this season, given there will be no senior premiership in the Hume League.
Osborne's netballers were set to meet on Tuesday night, with the club set to hold a committee meeting on Thursday.
That meeting has been pushed back a day to see what comes of a Hume League meeting on Wednesday night.
Osborne president Jason Gooden will also talk to parents of juniors after training on Saturday before the club commits to a decision.
"That's our biggest issue at the moment, just our juniors. It splits our juniors," Gooden said. "We'll know more next week."
AFL Riverina chairman Michael Irons is open to the idea of Osborne's under 14 teams entering the Wagga and District junior competition should the Tigers wish to explore that avenue.
"We're willing to look at it, yes, but we would need to understand first whether they do want to do that, and what their numbers are, plus what clubs within the Wagga juniors will be entering teams in what grades as well," Irons said.
Gooden believes there is a lot to be gained from the Riverina League move.
"We've got to do the right thing by the club. It's not going suit everyone, this situation with our junior parents but if we can get some junior and senior footy one way or another, the positives certainly outweigh the negatives," he said.
"We're a country footy club, our objective of the Osborne Football Club is to promote and play football and netball. We've fought so hard for over 100 years to keep the club going so we can't walk away now.
"We don't want to upset anyone in the RFL, they've got a great comp there. We thought that there is a bye there and this is an opportunity to keep the club going and wheels turning.
"If we got a couple of home games at Osborne this year, living through a global pandemic, it would just be massive for us. It would create a bit of excitement, plus we then go and buy some meat trays from the local butchery and pies from the local bakery."
