It's an online checklist that business owners can fill out to prove their COVID-safe credentials, and once they have ticked the boxes they receive a badge so customers know they have the government's tick of approval.
LPL salon owner Sommer Deaves said she was glad to see a concrete checklist, especially given just how vague the government's criteria have been so far.
She has been keeping up her own fastidious cleaning regime in her salon, as well as an online booking system.
"I would definitely use the service if it was going to make people feel more comfortable that we're taking all the necessary precautions," Mrs Deaves said.
Wagga Business Chamber relationship manager Casey Wilson said it was a good way to reassure shoppers that they were in good, clean hands.
"I think the COVID Safe plan is a great way for businesses to ensure they are compliant and for customers to feel safe in visiting these businesses," Ms Wilson said.
