A two-vehicle crash in Tumut has seen a woman and two children hospitalised in a critical condition.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 3pm on Saturday, May 16, at the intersection of the Snowy Mountains Highway and Gocup Road.
A car and truck had collided at the scene, leaving a 29-year old woman and two girls aged 10 and four trapped in the car.
Emergency services freed the woman and children, who were airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after being treated for serious head injuries at the scene.
The woman was taken to Canberra Hospital, while the girls were transported to Westmead Hospital.
The 58-year-old male truck driver was not injured in the collision and was take to Tumut Hospital for mandatory testing.
Riverina Police have established a crime scene at the scene of the collision and the Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
