A MAN has died in a single vehicle crash early Sunday morning about an hour south of Wagga.

The Murray River Police District reported a Ford Ranger vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a tree on Howlong-Kyong Road in Walbundrie at about 2.30 in the morning.
Officers who attended the scene of the accident found the body of the 27-year-old driver in the vehicle.
Police said a crime scene was established at the accident site and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash was under way.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Authorities are urging anyone with dash cam footage or information surrounding the incident to report to their local police station, or to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
