Superintendent Bob Noble from the Riverina police district said the vehicle was now undergoing a forensic examination, along with a number of other items seized.
At least two people are still being sought in relation to the incident, during which several police cars were at risk and one belonging to the Hilux's owner actually rammed.
Superintendent Noble said as part of the investigation, police spoke to a number of people and, as a result, have now charged a 15-year-old boy with a number of offences not related to the ramming attempts.
He was charged with a number of serious offences, including six charges of break and enter and was due to face a children's court yesterday.
"Investigations remain ongoing in relation to that young person," Superintendent Noble said.
