As of 8am on Friday, the total number of identified COVID-19 positive patients in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District remains at 45. There are 40 recovered cases, and currently no hospitalisations.
A total of 3967 people have been tested.
To help boost the number of patients being tested, the MLHD is launching a new mobile clinic next week. The mobile service will also support the testing service to respond quickly to any hotspots which may occur.
The first mobile clinic will be sent to Lockhart and Henty on Wednesday, May 6, and Narrandera and Coolamon on Thursday, May 7.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever and dry cough. Some people also experience sore throat, shortness of breath, or runny or stuffy nose.
Anyone who believes they may have the virus should call the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 831 099 for a confidential over the phone assessment. The hotline is open every day between 7am and 9pm.
MLHD executive director of medical service Len Bruce said an explained loss of smell or change in their abililty to taste could be "subtle signs" of COVID-19.
