ELEVEN-time Southern District Racing Association (SDRA) premiership-winning trainer Brett Cavanough will return to the region on Thursday in a bid to win the $160,000 Wagga Town Plate (1200m).

Cavanough will launch a two-pronged attack on the feature sprint with Another Sin and Hardspot to represent the former Albury horseman, who is now based at Scone.
Another Sin, a half brother to Yes Yes Yes, has drawn six for Mathew Cahill, while Richard Bensley will ride Hardspot, a winner of four of her seven starts, from the outside gate.
Cavanough is bullish about their chances.
"They're both rock hard fit," Cavanough said.
"I suppose Hardspot is on the up and a bit unknown. She's very, very quick, has a wide gate, and got to get through the wet.
"The other horse gets weight relief but goes up in class. Probably the main reason I came is they're both rock hard fit and hopefully there is mud up to their knees."
Cavanough would love nothing more than to return and win his first Wagga Town Plate.
"I certainly would, it would be great. A couple of jocks that I've had a fair bit of luck with too," he said.
"If you do your job at home and you bring your horses here rock hard fit then anything can happen.
"They're not in the market so the geniuses all think they can't win. But I'm pretty happy with how they're both going so we'll see how we go."
