Another major event has fallen victim to the coronavirus, with the announcement that the 2020 Cootamundra BnS has been cancelled.

The cancellation comes after a meeting of the Council of Australian Governments - attended by Prime Minister Scott Morrison and state premiers - on Friday decided to suspend mass gatherings of more than 500 people.
Wagga's Mardi Gras, which had been scheduled for Saturday, was cancelled along with the city's annual Food and Wine Festival, which questions remain over the NRL's planned return on April 18.
In a Facebook post, organisers of the popular Cootamundra event said they had been told by Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council that events at the Cootamundra showground that were likely to attract more than 500 people were being cancelled.
"We have had to make the regretful decision to cancel our event," the post reads.
After assuring people who had already pre-bought tickets that refunds would be processed early next week, the organisers were quick to announce the BnS would be back on March 29, 2021.
Just days earlier, this Hilltops Council announced the Lambing Flats Chinese Festival, which was to have been held at Young on March 21, was being cancelled.
"This decision has been made taking into consideration that a number of our traditional performers are now unable to attend resulting in the program being significantly impacted," a statement from council read.
