On a day when 11 new records were set, Harper's name was on three of them: the 12 years boys high jump (1.42m), long jump (4.54m) and 200m (28.88s).
He sliced one second off the old sprint mark and added 12cm to the long jump record, both of which were previously set in 2012. His high jump was an 8cm improvement on a 2013 record.
Gerard Okerenyang smashed a 12-year-old record in the 16 years discus with his throw of 48.01m almost 14 metres further than Ben Foster's 2008 record.
He also broke the shot put record with a 12.69m effort, while in the senior boys, his brother Godfrey launched the javelin 50.09m.
Isobella Makeham also broke a longstanding mark, beating the 15 years girls javelin record set in 2004 with a throw of 25 metres.
Other record breakers were Riley Alpin (1.78m in 16yr boys high jump), Leila Campbell (13.65s in 14yrs girls 100m), Claudia Wheatley (1.55m in 15yrs girls high jump) and Bonny McKean (4.74m in 15yrs girls long jump).
The records capped a fine day for the school.
"It was a good day, it was quite warm, and participation was one of the key highlights of our carnival, everyone is in having a go," organiser Karen Wilson said.
The event closed with the annual staff relay, with Rachel Addison starring in that.
