It was a family affair with the Burton and Morton names figuring prominently among age champions and runners-up on a beautiful day at Wagga's Jubilee Park.
"Overall the standard was quite strong, there was overall improvement in the competition," van Styn said.
"It's our biggest year of enrolments and we had 159 students there so a good turnout with strong support from parents."
Aquinas was the winning house.
The placegetters in events progress to the Riverina association of schools carnival for combined independent schools.
