A NSW Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Strontian Road following reports of a single vehicle crash yesterday at 2.45pm.
The woman driving a Toyota Corolla was believed to be travelling in a westerly direction before losing control on a right-hand bend and hitting a tree.
The spokesperson said that while the body was yet to be formally identified, it was believed to be that of a 20-year-old woman.

A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said that despite attempts, paramedics could not revive the patient at the scene.
Police urged anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
