Murrumbidgee police have re-issued a commitment to seeing poor driving punished following the apprehension of two high-range drink drivers in the past 24 hours.

About 6.30pm on Thursday, a 56-year-old man was stopped by police while driving in Leeton.
He blew a positive breath test and was taken to Leeton Police Station, where he again returned a high-range result of 0.201.
He was charged with high-range PCA and driving an unregistered vehicle. His licence was also suspended.
Officers attached to West Wyalong patrol also stopped a 22-year-old woman at 12.30am on Friday.
She returned a breath analysis of 0.153, which is three times the legal limit.
Her licence was suspended and she was charged with high-range PCA.
"I am shocked and disappointed that people in our area continue to drink and drive," said Murrumbidgee Police District commander Superintendent Craig Ireland.
"The tragic circumstances resulting in the loss of four young lives in Sydney recently received widespread coverage and highlights the deadly consequences of drink driving.
