Wagga hasn't raced since a busy new year period where three meetings were held between New Year's Eve and January 10.
Heat has seen the club last two meeting moved into morning slots, but with the cool change predicted to come through on Sunday it isn't as much of a concern this time around.
Racing manager John Patton is looking forward to being back on track.
"We're lucky to miss the heat and we're happy with Sunday meetings," Patton said.
"I'm just glad we haven't had to change the times to miss the heat."
The first race starts at 6.14pm with heats of the Ladbrokes Monthly Medal 1-3 Wins (320m) series the feaure.
The final will be run at the club's next meeting on February 14.
