Station officer Justin Bentley said 12 firefighters and three trucks from the Turvey Park station responded to the fires near the corner of Mimosa Drive and MacLeay Street at 3.30pm.
"We responded with an aerial pumper to a single fire but found two others and called for a pumper and a tanker to attend as well," he said.
"There was a 40 by 30 metre fire at Mimosa Drive to the side of the music bowl.
"We found another fire about 20 by 30 metres further down the fire trail, which was extinguished and we then found another fire about 40 metres away.
"The fires were brought under control in about twenty minutes and our appliances were back at the station after a bit over an hour due to blacking out the fire ground."
Mr Bentley said police also attended the fires and were investigating.
"These fires were obviously deliberately lit," he said.
"There were three fires and there were no other obvious sources of ignition.
"People in the area should stay vigilant and report anything suspicious they see while walking their dogs or cycling. If you find an unattended fire, please call triple 000."
