A spokesperson from Wagga Police Station said they had a relatively quiet day both on the roads and in licensed venues.
"There a no issues really to report, the roads were a lot quieter than we had anticipated," they said.
However, the spokesperson stated there was one incident of violence under investigation.
"There is one incidence of violence being investigated now from a licensed premises which was quite serious but I can't elaborate any more on that at this stage," they said.
"So everyone was relatively well behaved apart from that one individual."
Police will still be in force on roads and at licensed venues today to see the long weekend through.
