At 6.56 on Saturday morning, Turvey Park Firefighters received the first call following a fire in Coolibah Street, Kooringal.
The block of flats, known as 'Bryson Court' are a short walking distance from the front entrance to Kooringal High School.
Upon arrival the aerial pump team extinguished the blaze, which was believed to have started when a pile of rubbish was deliberately lit.
A second call to extinguish the same house was received at 7.35am.
As with the first time, firefighters found the blaze to have begun from a deliberately lit pile of rubbish.
The third call was received at 8.44am. Firefighters finished extinguishing the blaze within moments of arriving.
It was believed this third fire was started in a bin on the veranda of the property, resulting in minimal damage to the eaves.
Firefighters managed to contain all three of the fires before any significant damage was sustained to any area of the house.
The matter has now been turned over to police for investigation.
Forensic teams arrived at the scene by 9am.
