Air quality levels from the bushfire crisis will be assessed before the call is made.
Operations manager Paul McKelvie is hopeful the competition can resume with a round of one-day matches.
"At this stage everything is going ahead as per the draw, so firsts, seconds and thirds start this weekend but will be just have to play the conditions and the air quality as we go along," McKelvie said.
"If anything changes we will have to make a decision from there."
Extreme heat saw the last round leading into the Christmas break abandoned but with a forecast top of 30 it won't be an issue again.
The grand final rematch between South Wagga and Wagga City is the highlight of the round with Lake Albert set to tackle Kooringal Colts and Wagga RSL hosts St Michaels.
Monitoring of air quality will also occur for the twilight Twenty20 matches on Monday and Tuesday.
Wagga RSL tackles Kooringal Colts in the first match on Monday before South Wagga and Lake Albert clash the following night.
The matches, along with the clash between St Michaels and Wagga City the following Monday start at 6.30pm.
All three will be played at Robertson Oval.
