A lack of racing in the region over the past week has caused Murrumbidgee Turf Club (MTC) to host a bumper 10-race card on Thursday.

MTC and Racing NSW were happy to split two of the maidens on the card to create a busy 10-race program.
MTC received 31 and 23 acceptances for the respective 1200 metre maidens and were happy to split both the current circumstances.
Meetings at Gundagai, Tumut and Albury have all been either postponed or abandoned over the past week as smoke from the nearby bushfires continues to create hazardous air quality for race meetings to be conducted.
Wagga's meeting is not yet in the clear with Southern District chief steward Jason Schulz to monitor the air quality and make a decision on Thursday morning.
The first race on Thursday is at 12.40pm with the last scheduled for 5.55pm. They will then conduct two trials after the last.
