Owner of Adelong Foodworks Sam Bhardwaj said conditions were easing.
"It's much, much better today," he said.
"Yesterday the town was filled with smoke and it looked like we'd be out of power for four to five days, but now the power is back on already, the phones are up and running and we have water."

Mr Bhardwaj said families were slowly coming back to Adelong and things were "getting back to normal".
"Obviously people are still in pain, some lost their farms and cattle or had to shoot their animals to stop them suffering," he said.
"It's so painful and hard to believe, you can't begin to explain it."
The Adelong Foodworks reopened Monday after closure from power outages and smoke.
"We let people in yesterday if they were desperate for anything, but today we are officially open again," Mr Bhardwaj said.
"Some parts of the store like the freezers are affected though due to the power cut so we had to get rid of a lot of that stock which isn't good but there's not much that can be done in that regard."
The store owner praised the work of firefighters over the past week.
"Firefighters did such a good job, it's a community effort though and we all helped save our town," he said
"Things like buildings can be made again and we can work to fix what is damaged, it's most important that we have our lives now and that's all that matters."
