Around 1.35am on Thursday, a number of businesses on Dobney Avenue and Pearson Street were broken into.
A Wagga man has been arrested in connection to the break in events.
"He was located not far from his home address and an amount of property and a stolen motor vehicle were recovered at the time," said Acting Inspector Maggie Deall.
All items noted as stolen were recovered by police upon a search of his person and property.
"All of the businesses were vehicle-related. There was a windscreen business, Total Tools, and some of the property retrieved was related to that industry," Acting Inspector Deall said.
He has been bail refused by police but later granted very strict conditional bail at Wagga Local Court on Thursday.
"He certainly will be followed up very stringently by police," Acting Inspector Maggie Deall said.
