The students, spanning years 9, 10 and 11, used the three-hour session as a chance to have their burning questions about various career paths answered.
In other news:
An initiative of Australian children's charity The Smith Family, there were 26 mentors attending the session, covering various fields of work from journalism and education to policing and the military.
The high school students used the event to help them decide on a future career.
