The family now has three life members of the Leeton-Whitton Football and Netball Club after Garry Swasbrick was awarded the honour at the Crows recent presentation night.
Garry follows in the footsteps of his father Barry and his late grandfather William Thomas Swasbrick, who have also been made life members of the club over their respective years.
The three have each given countless hours of their time to the club whether it be through their playing years, roles on the committee, assisting on game day and at training through roles such as the strapper.
Each have left their own significant mark on the club, with both Barry and Garry remaining involved in different capacities to this day.
The achievements of each men run long and there's no doubting the club has benefited from their years of input.
With Garry the newest inductee to the life membership club, he said he could think of no greater honour to be bestowed by the Crows.
"I had a bit of an inkling, but even so it was still a very big surprise," he said.
"To have three people from one family be life members is a huge honour and it really does mean a lot. To receive the award while dad is still alive, it meant a hell of a lot.
"To be a third generation is very special."
Over the course of their years at the club, there has been many highs and lows both on and off the playing field for the three men.
Barry said his best memories included the friendships he made along the way, but both men agreed they were thrilled to witness the Crows bring home their drought-breaking premiership in 2017.
Barry also played in the 1958 winning grand final, while William played in winning premierships in 1927 and 1929.
"The premiership (in 2017) was something I will never forget," Garry said.
"The year before when we lost (to Wagga Tigers) left a very bitter taste. So to come back and win the next year was just this amazing feeling for everyone involved in the club."
Both Barry and Garry agreed one of the best parts of their involvement with the club was that it had become like a second family for both of them.
