Kahlefeldt has five drives on the 10-race program at Wagga and all of them are among the top three or four chances in the market.
The 33-year-old will have to wait until the last race of the day for the drive he is looking forward to most - Twentyeightblack in the Football Premiers Race Night Oct 26 NR75 Pace (2270m).
"I'm most confident with him," Kahlefeldt said.
"Even though perhaps, on paper, he was a little bit disappointing last week, he didn't handle the really heavy track.
"He'll be improved this week and I expect him to go pretty well."
Twentyeightblack has proven a terrific purchase for his new connections, which include Tommy Berry and Tye Angland, winning three races and placing on another five occasions from 12 starts.
It could kick off a big weekend for Berry, who has a full book of rides on Everest day at Randwick on Saturday, including the steer on Pierata in the $14 million feature.
Twentyeightblack has drawn barrier six and is expected to go forward from the front row draw.
Kahlefeldt also expects a bold showing from Soho Beijing in the Riverina Security Solutions NR55 Pace (1740m).
"He is a horse when he puts it altogether can run a really nice race," he said.
"He's a horse with a fair few issues and it's a bit of a week-to-week proposition with him. If he turns up, and I'm pretty confident he will turn up, then he will be very hard to beat."
Four of Kahlefeldt's drives will be for his father Paul, while he also has a drive for David Druitt on Kamwood Izzy.
