A man will be airlifted from the scene of a single vehicle crash on private property south-east of Wagga after suffering serious injuries on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the property at about 3.15pm on Saturday afternoon after reports of a person trapped in their vehicle after it fell from a hillside and into a gully near Yaven Creek, about 24 kilometres south-west of Adelong.
An Ambulance Service of NSW spokeswoman said multiple crews were attending the scene and the male occupant of the vehicle had likely sustained serious injuries and was due to be airlifted to hospital in Canberra.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said the person involved in the incident was being treated at the scene just before 5pm on Saturday and emergency service were preparing to move them to a helicopter for a medical evacuation.
According to the Rural Fire Service 'Fires Near Me' incident map, the property is located near Yaven Creek Road and west of Batlow.
The incident comes as Riverina Police District cracks down on road safety for the long weekend.
Riverina Police District Superintendent Bob Noble stated on social media that day one of 'Operation Slowdown' had resulted in 63 traffic infringement notices and more than 1000 roadside breath tests.
