Major Comment won a heat of the group three feature last week, and is the only one of the four victors not to draw on the back row.
He was also the only horse not driven to victory in the lucrative event by Brad Hewitt on Sunday.
The Goulburn trainer lines up Hurricane Roy and Roger That, while brother Sam has Redbank Cooper.
However Druitt is hoping gate four will help his chances on the small track.
He has been pleased with the stable newcomer.
"He won his heat well," Druitt said.
"I was very happy with him."
Major Comment in unbeaten in two starts for Druitt after winning at Cobram a month ago.
Held back with the $30,000 feature in mind, the Brucedale trainer expects he will be improved off his heat, which was run in the slowest mile rate.
"His time wasn't the quickest but I think I could have been the quickest if I got rolling," he said.
"I purposely held up as I had the favourite (El Aguila) on my back.
"I just nursed around the bend knowing that if I went for home he probably wouldn't get me up the short little straight at Eugowra."
Druitt also has Yoursnmine in the gold consolation after finishing fifth in his heat.
Meanwhile Druitt has two horses engaged at Temora's meeting on Saturday.
Sun Safe lines up in a heat of the HRNSW Rewards Series.
She won a heat of the last series at Wagga before finishing third in the final.
Sun Safe struggled to get around the track and Druitt hopes the same won't be repeated.
However he took the mare to Junee during the week to work on a smaller track and was pleased with how she handled the surface.
"It was a good strong hopple over the trip and I think she will be hard to beat," Druitt said.
"I wanted to make sure she was back used to racing around the little tracks, as she doesn't really like them.
"She didn't get around the track real good (at Young) and I thought if I practice it we might get better."
He rates Sun Safe as his best chance with Lenas Art drawn wide.
It is Temora's first meeting of the season with the eight-race card kicking off at 6.05pm.
