The Kangaroos product helped Newtown to success in the Canterbury Cup grand final and is now looking to prove the competition's strength as part of the build up to the NRL grand final on Sunday.
The Jets will take on Queensland Cup winners Burleigh Bears in the NRL State Championship.
Coming off a thrilling 20-15 grand final win there has been little time to celebrate for the 22-year-old ahead of the clash at ANZ Stadium.
"They were pretty tame (celebrations), there was a function on with one of the major sponsors and we celebrated but we kept in all under wraps as we knew we had another game," Jolliffe said.
"We just prepare like we prepare for a big game.
"Nothing changes. We'll have a look at their game, see what they are like and just treat it like another game."
After leaving Kangaroos at the end of 2014 to join Cronulla's under 20s outfit it is the 22-year-old's third season in the competition.
He believes it's been his best yet and being named on the bench in the Canterbury Cup team of the year proves that.
"I've really enjoyed this year and it's been a good year for me," he said.
"It's the first time I've managed to get through a season without injury so it wasn't interrupted at all and I really found my rhythm.
"We started off slow but have found some success, I think I've found some good form and there is still a lot for me to build on for next year."
With the Jets the feeder team for Cronulla, Jolliffe trains alongside the Sharks first grade team throughout the week before linking with the remainder of the Canterbury Cup side for their final preparations.
However he's unsure where his future lines with no contract in place for next season at this stage.
There is a Riverina flavour to each of the grand finals with Jolliffe kicking things off at 1.35pm.
Griffith Waratahs' Takilele Katoa then lines up for St George Illawarra in the women's premiership grand final before Young's Angus Crichton plays for Sydney Roosters in their clash with Canberra Raiders.
