Lake Albert's Community Kids visited the house and 11 children brought toys they had picked out with their parents so that seriously ill children have something to play with when they are away from home.
Lead educator Ashley Woods said the preschoolers are aware of how other children will benefit from these donations.
"We've been talking about it for the last month, about how some children are sick and have to come away to visit doctors and that they're not at home with their own toys," Ms Woods said.
"They have been really involved and wanted to help their parents pick a toy for the sick children who don't have their own toys to play with and to keep them happy when they're seeing doctors.
"This is the first time we've done it and I think it's something we'll continue to do each year."
Hugh Middleton, 4, said it felt good helping other children in need.
"They need to have toys so that the sick children can play with them because they are far away from home," Hugh said.
Wagga's RMH executive officer Deborah Braines said it was lovely to see children as young as three opening up their hearts.
"It does your heart good, it's so lovely and there's some beautiful toys there ... it's really lovely to have them here today and this will benefit the families with the children who come to stay with us," she said.
