For the first time ever, this year's event held a 5km run and walk alongside the traditional 10km events.
The courses flowed through the streets of Wagga with both the start and finish at Apex Park, Lake Albert.
Resident Krystal Buckingham has participated in the previous four editions and said it was mostly social for her and her dog, Princess.
"I normally walk it, I don't run it," she said.
Ms Buckingham said the event was a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle.
"As a community, the event helps us recognise that fitness is important and it's just a really good social event for everyone," she said.
"It's free and there are things happening for all age groups."
As well as the fitness courses, there were food, drinks and entertainment for attendees.

Among those who made the trek to the event was Marilyn Brennan from Albury. Ms Brennan brought her food truck 'Slinky Spudz' and said the highlight is watching everyone prepare for their events.
"We had a bit of a late start, but everyone's enjoying their day and the sunshine, so it's wonderful," she said.
"It's great to see everyone exercising and socialising at the same time.
"That's a great part about this - people get to meet other people and the weather's perfect today."
Following the races, medals and awards were presented to event and age category winners.
