Spring Jam will once again bring the Botanic Gardens to life with its second jam-packed, outdoor festival of family fun this weekend.
Wagga City Council's visitor economy and events coordinator Fiona Hamilton said there would be adventure play, acrobatics, live music, delicious food and even a relaxing chill-out zone, and the event guarantees there's something for everyone and best of all entry to the event is free.
"Spring Jam is bigger and better this year with new acts and entertainment, including two new ticketed workshops, High Voltage Rock School and Kids Who Glow," she said.
Well-known Australian festival favourites Bunny Racket, The Cope Street Parade and the Dancing Accounting will liven the crowd with high-energy performances, while the Creative Space will give kids a chance to make fun and messy seed balls or artworks.
Families can enjoy the outdoors in the Adventure Zone with an eight-metre-high rock-climbing wall, and get active with the in-motion-fitness obstacle course.
For those wanting to enjoy the peace and quiet, head along to Platform, a new all-inclusive chill out space provided by Eastern Riverina Arts in collaboration with IDEAS.
Housed in a refurbished shipping container, it is reserved as a quiet space for festival-goers with sensory-related needs.
"Families can pack a picnic or grab some Spring Jam delights down food alley," Ms Hamilton said.
Spring Jam is on from 10am to 4pm this Saturday at the Botanic Gardens.
