The former Junee reinsman was named the leading junior driver at the Harness Racing NSW awards night on Saturday night.
Adding to the honour, the 20-year-old was announced as the state's representative for the tour in December.
Hart is looking forward to the opportunity.
"It should be good," Hart said.
"I'm looking forward to going over, meeting some new people and it is always an honour to represent the state."
Coming off his best season, where he drove 96 winners, Hart believes it will be a great experience.
Especially racing on some very different tracks to the ones he's more accustomed to.
"We've got some heats on the grass track and I think the final is on the North Island at Alexandra Park so it will the first time I've raced right handed as well," Hart said.
"I'm looking forward to it."
The tour encompasses New Zealand's two major track, Addington in Christchurch and Auckland's Alexandra Park plus there are stops on the grass track at Methven plus Manawatu.
After falling just short of the century, bringing up the triple figures is something Hart would like to achieve in the new season.
"It's been a good season," he said.
"I didn't quite crack the hundred but got close.
"There were a couple of good feature wins so hopefully we can continue it into the new season."
Hart didn't expect to drive so many winners from his Sydney base.
However the season did provide plenty of highlights including claiming two of the biggest wins at Riverina Paceway.
He won the Wagga Pacers Cup with Beetson for Bathurst trainer Peter Trevor-Jones before combining with his uncle Trevor White to win the group two NSW Breeders Challenge regional final with Western Secret.
Hart also tasted group three success at Menangle with Loorrim Creek.
"Those two (Wagga) wins were definitely highlights along with my free for all win at Menangle as well," he said.
Hart is also approaching another career milestone.
After winning his first race in his first race start as a 17-year-old, Hart is eyeing off his 250th win.
He's currently driven 235 winners.
However the next barrier will also see him lose his concession claim.
Western Secret was in the running for three-year-old filly of the year at the awards night, but the Junee pacer missed out with Miss Streisand getting the nod.
